Phone Line Cut Under Sink – Mosman
Field Job Description
Customer has just moved into a unit, and had Telstra and Optus come out to do the connection from MDF to unit, but they found that the cable from the socket to the MDF has been cut under the sink during renovations. See photo. I dug out the expanding foam to try to find the other end of the cable with no luck. The customer will need a new cable from the socket to the MDF. The only way to do this now would be external on building and will need strata approval.

On not being able to get access to the rest of this foam without pulling apart the bench or taking out the dish washer, the customer will speak to strata and see if they will pay for the repair. Strata is usually responsible for cabling between MDF and the socket. Our client will contact us once they have sorted out the next move with strata.
