I’ve just moved into a new place and I’m setting up my NBN for the first time. I noticed the sync light isn’t turning solid blue. How long should I typically wait for the NBN connection device to set up, and what should I do if it takes longer than expected?

If it’s the first time you are connecting an NBN connection device, it can take up to 15 minutes for the NBN connection device to complete its installation setup. This mode can take time. Once it is finished, the sync light that looks like a link should be a solid blue colour.
If it’s not the first time you are connecting, then it should not take longer than 7 minutes to connect. If it takes longer than this, you may have an NBN-related fault.
