Older smart TVs with limited app support may benefit from adding a streaming device like a Chromecast or Apple TV to expand functionality. We'll assess your TV model during the visit and advise honestly on the best approach for your situation.
Most single smart TV setups are completed within one hour — this includes WiFi pairing, free-to-air app installation, streaming service configuration, a full channel scan, HDMI device connections, and a plain-English walkthrough for the household.
Setups involving multiple TVs, complex home theatre systems, or households with senior residents who need an extended walkthrough may take longer. We include one hour in the service call fee — if more time is needed, we'll advise before billing anything extra.
Yes — we configure smart TVs in any position, including wall-mounted units. You don't need to remove the TV from the wall for us to complete the setup. We connect to your WiFi, install apps, run a channel scan, and configure all settings directly on the mounted TV.
If you need HDMI cables run discreetly through the wall to a wall-mounted TV, we can discuss data cabling as a separate service. This is common when soundbars, streaming devices, or gaming consoles need to connect without visible cables.
Yes — we set up all major external streaming devices including Apple TV 4K, Chromecast with Google TV, Amazon Fire TV Stick, Roku Streaming Stick, and similar devices.
