For Greater Sydney homes, there is no travel supplement — the $250 service call is all-inclusive. For homes outside Greater Sydney, a travel supplement applies. We calculate it using the ATO cents-per-kilometre rate for the return distance over our 40km no-charge radius, and we confirm the exact amount with you by phone or email before you commit to a booking. You are never presented with a surprise charge on the day.

For Greater Sydney bookings, we typically have availability within a few business days. Regional NSW visits require a bit more planning — we confirm a travel date that works for both parties, usually within one to two weeks depending on location and our schedule. We operate Monday to Friday and do our best to accommodate urgent situations where a new PC is genuinely holding someone up.

We support both Windows 10 and Windows 11 across all NSW setups. New PCs purchased today ship with Windows 11 pre-installed, which we configure fully. If you have an existing machine running Windows 10 and want to stay on it, we configure that instead and make sure it's fully updated and secured. Windows 10 is supported by Microsoft until October 2025, after which security updates will cease.

For NSW clients on older hardware that can't upgrade to Windows 11 (typically pre-2018 PCs lacking TPM 2.0), we advise on whether the machine is worth maintaining or whether a replacement is more practical. If a new PC is the better call, we can advise on what to buy and then set it up for you in the same booking — one visit, everything sorted.
