Our technician is based in Miranda (Sutherland Shire), so we service the Inner West — Marrickville, Newtown, Leichhardt, Balmain, Petersham and surrounds — the Eastern Suburbs — Bondi, Randwick, Coogee, Maroubra, Kensington — and the North Shore including Chatswood, Willoughby, Lane Cove, North Sydney, and Mosman.

We also cover the St George area (Hurstville, Kogarah, Rockdale), the Shire (Miranda, Cronulla, Caringbah), Canterbury-Bankstown, Liverpool, Parramatta, and many other suburbs. Suburbs within 40km of Miranda travel at no extra charge; homes beyond 40km incur a small travel supplement confirmed before booking.

Travel within 40km of our Miranda office is included in the $250 service call. This covers most inner and mid-Sydney suburbs — including the Inner West, Eastern Suburbs, North Shore as far as Chatswood, and many CBD-adjacent areas like Pyrmont, Glebe, Surry Hills, and Redfern.

For suburbs beyond 40km — such as the Hills District, Penrith, Campbelltown, or far Northern Beaches — a travel supplement applies. We operate Monday to Friday and generally have availability within a few business days. When you book online or call 02 9188 1577, we'll confirm the earliest available date that suits you. We typically service inner and mid-Sydney suburbs within one to three business days of booking.

For suburbs that take longer to reach — or if you've just bought a new PC and want it set up quickly — call us directly and we'll do our best to accommodate you. We call ahead on the day with an estimated arrival time so you're never left waiting in an open window.

Absolutely — apartment and unit visits make up a significant portion of our Sydney work. We're experienced navigating high-rise buildings, security intercoms, and parking restrictions across the Inner West, Eastern Suburbs and CBD-adjacent areas. Just let us know when booking if there are any access considerations — a security code, visitor parking, or a concierge — and we'll arrive prepared.

There is no difference in the service provided in an apartment versus a house. We bring all the tools and equipment needed to complete a full Windows PC setup. WiFi and Ethernet connections are both possible in apartment settings, and we can advise on the best connectivity option for your unit layout.

Absolutely — working with seniors is one of the most important and valued parts of what we do, and we've been doing it across Sydney since 2008. We explain everything in plain English at your pace. We can also customise Windows for seniors — increasing text and icon size, enabling accessibility features, simplifying the Start menu, and setting up large desktop shortcuts to commonly used apps. Yes — data migration from an old PC to a new one is a service we provide. This typically involves transferring documents, photos, emails, browser bookmarks and other files. The amount of data determines how long migration takes; for small to moderate amounts it can be done within the first service hour, for large migrations it may require additional time.

Let us know when booking if you have an old PC you want data copied from. We'll advise on the best approach — whether that's a direct transfer over a local network, using an external drive, or OneDrive/cloud migration. We always confirm the scope and any extra time before billing, so there are no surprises.

We get this question regularly from Sydney clients. The honest answer: it depends on your hardware. Windows 11 requires specific specifications — particularly TPM 2.0 and a compatible processor. Older PCs (generally pre-2018) often cannot run Windows 11 at all. For those machines, we keep Windows 10 properly configured and secured; Microsoft supports Windows 10 until October 2025.

For newer PCs that support Windows 11, we'll walk you through the differences and help you decide what works best. Most Sydney home users find Windows 11 perfectly comfortable once set up correctly. New PCs purchased today ship with Windows 11 pre-installed. We configure whichever version you have and make sure it's updated, secured, and easy to use.

Our standard service hours are Monday to Friday. Saturday is a phone-answering day — you can call 02 9188 1577 and speak with us, but on-site visits are not part of our standard roster. For Sydney residents who genuinely cannot accommodate a weekday visit, Saturday on-site bookings are sometimes available by special request as after-hours appointments.

If you need a weekend visit, call us on 02 9188 1577 and we'll discuss your situation. We'd rather work something out than lose a client — especially seniors or households in genuine need. Sunday visits are not available. Note that weekend and after-hours work cannot be booked online; it must be arranged by phone.
