The Problem

WHEN TECH GETS FRUSTRATING —
WE MAKE IT SIMPLE AGAIN

You don't need to understand technology to get it fixed. Here are the five home tech problems we solve every week across Sydney — in plain English, with no judgement.

My Computer Is Slow or Keeps Freezing

When you press the power button and wait minutes for anything to happen — or your screen freezes mid-task — the cause is rarely a hardware failure. Startup bloat, unnecessary background processes, outdated software, and hidden malware are the most common culprits. Most are fixed in a single visit. SLOW COMPUTER FIX

My Internet Keeps Dropping or Won't Connect

Even when your modem and router look fine — lights green, signal showing — your device still drops out or refuses to connect. WiFi interference, router firmware issues, and cabling faults inside the wall are the most likely causes. We trace the problem from your socket back to the source. WIFI & NBN FAULT

I Think I've Got a Virus or Been Hacked

Unexpected pop-ups, a browser that redirects to strange sites, passwords that no longer work, or accounts sending messages you never wrote — these are serious warning signs. We run a full malware scan, remove any threats, recover compromised accounts, reset passwords, and set up protection to prevent it from happening again. MALWARE & SECURITY

I Can't Set Up My New Phone, Tablet, or Printer

New devices should be exciting — not a source of frustration. Whether it's transferring contacts and photos from an old phone, getting your tablet onto the WiFi, pairing a new printer, or installing the right drivers on your computer, we handle all of it at your home without fuss. DEVICE SETUP

I Don't Understand the Technology — I Need Someone to Show Me

From setting up an AI assistant so you can ask questions out loud instead of typing, to understanding streaming apps, organising photos, or using email properly — sometimes you just need someone patient to sit down and walk you through it, step by step. AI & DIGITAL COACHING

What We Help With

HOME TECH HELP FOR EVERY SITUATION

From setting up AI assistants for seniors to protecting your kids online — here's the full range of home IT and tech support services we provide at your home across Sydney.

AI Training for Seniors

We help seniors and beginners set up voice AI assistants — so you can ask questions out loud, get instant answers, and have technology finally work for you. Many of our senior customers find this completely life-changing.

Smart TV & Home Theatre

Set up, connect, and troubleshoot smart TVs and home theatre systems. WiFi pairing, free-to-air apps, streaming services, channel scan, and HDMI device connection. See our dedicated Smart TV setup service.

Kids Online Safety

We install and configure a parental control device that gives you per-profile time limits, content filters by age, usage insights, and the ability to suspend internet access for everyone. Faster, more secure WiFi distributed throughout your home as an added benefit.

Computer Setup

We install and configure computers, software, and peripherals so your system is ready to use from the moment we leave. New computers, laptops, data transfers from old machines, and software configuration handled in one visit.

Virus & Malware Removal

We clean infected systems, remove malware and spyware, recover compromised accounts, reset passwords, and set up ongoing protection. If you've been hacked or suspect a virus, don't wait — call us.

Network Troubleshooting

Resolve WiFi dropouts, router configuration issues, and slow connection problems at the source. We diagnose from your devices back to your modem and NBN connection to find exactly what's causing the problem.

Photos & Media

We help you get your ever-growing photo collection organised. Online gallery setup, cloud backup, local archival, media library consolidation, and photo touchups — so your memories are safe and easy to find.

Email Setup & Management

Set up Outlook, Gmail, and Office 365 for seamless syncing across all your devices. We also configure filing rules, spam filters, and antivirus to keep your inbox manageable and protected.

Printers

New printer setup, wireless configuration, driver installation, print quality issues, and general maintenance. We get your printer talking to every device in your home — phone, tablet, laptop, and desktop.

Software Installation

Install and configure essential apps, antivirus, Microsoft Office, productivity tools, and everything else you need. We remove software you no longer use and make sure your system is clean, current, and protected.

Online Selling Help

Declutter and make money at the same time. We show you how to list items on eBay, Gumtree, and Facebook Marketplace, link your bank account, set up PayPal, and get the best price — while avoiding common scams.

System Optimisation

Speed up slow or sluggish devices with a proper tune-up. We remove startup bloat, clear unnecessary files, update drivers, and configure your system to run the way it should have from the day you bought it.

Not sure if we can help? Call and ask first — no obligation. We answer questions before you book. Most home IT problems are fixed in a single visit.

PRICING FAQ

The $250 fee (GST inclusive) covers the first hour on-site with an experienced home IT technician, plus travel up to 40km from our Sutherland Shire office. Within that hour we complete a full system diagnostic, identify the fault or setup issue, and carry out any basic fixes or configuration that can be done in the time available.
If your job looks like it will take longer than the first hour, we'll tell you on-site before we continue — never after. Additional time is billed at our standard hourly rate and invoiced separately. You're always in control of whether to proceed. If you're uncertain how long your job will take, call us first and we'll give you an honest estimate.
Yes — travel up to 40km from our Sutherland Shire office is included in the $250, with no separate call-out fee. If you're further out, the additional travel is charged at the ATO cents-per-kilometre rate and confirmed with you before the booking is finalised. We service all of Greater Sydney.
There's no per-device fee — we work through as many devices as we can within the time booked. If you have several things to sort out, it's worth mentioning all of them when you book so we can plan the visit efficiently. If we need more time to cover everything, we'll discuss that with you on the day.
Absolutely. Book online for the $250 service call and describe what you need help with. We review every booking before arrival and will contact you if anything looks like it'll need extra time. Alternatively, call us on 02 9188 1577 and we'll talk you through what to expect before you commit to a booking.
Any work we carry out — configurations, repairs, installations, setup — is covered by our 12-month workmanship guarantee. If the same issue reoccurs due to our work, we'll return and resolve it at no additional charge. The guarantee covers our labour and workmanship; it does not cover hardware failures, ISP network issues, or problems caused by third parties after our visit.

HOME IT
TECH SUPPORT
QUESTIONS

Common questions from home users and seniors before booking a home tech visit. If yours isn't here, call us — we're happy to talk it through in plain English before you commit to anything.

8 Questions
answered below
Book a Tech Visit

We cover the full range of home IT and tech support problems — slow or freezing computers, virus and malware removal, WiFi dropouts and internet faults, printer setup and troubleshooting, email configuration, smart TV setup and streaming app help, new device setup (phones, tablets, laptops), software installation, and photo and media backup.

We also provide more specialised services including AI training for seniors, kids' online safety and parental controls, system optimisation for older devices, and help with online selling on platforms like eBay, Gumtree, and Facebook Marketplace. If it's a technology problem in your home and you need a real person to come and sort it out, we can most likely help.

Absolutely — and this is genuinely one of the things we do best. A significant portion of our home tech visits are with senior residents who want to use their devices confidently but haven't had proper, patient support. We speak plain English throughout, never use technical jargon, and work at whatever pace suits the person.

There's no such thing as a silly question. If you'd like a walkthrough of how something works after we've set it up, just ask — we'll go through it as many times as needed until you feel comfortable. We don't rush, we don't talk down, and we won't leave until you're confident using whatever we've set up.

Yes — we work across all common home devices regardless of brand or operating system. That includes Windows PCs and laptops, Apple Macs and MacBooks, iPhones, iPads, Android phones and tablets, Chromebooks, smart TVs (Samsung, LG, Sony, TCL, Hisense and others), and network equipment from any manufacturer.

We also handle mixed households — it's very common for a home to have a mix of Apple and Windows devices, and we're comfortable working across both in the same visit. The printer that won't connect, the iPhone that won't back up to the laptop, the iPad that needs a new email account — these are all typical jobs for us.

AI training for seniors is one of the most rewarding services we offer. Modern AI assistants — including voice-based tools like Siri, Google Assistant, and ChatGPT — can be genuinely life-changing for older residents. Dictating messages instead of typing, asking questions by voice, getting help writing letters, setting reminders, or simply having a conversation — many people find these capabilities far more accessible than they expected.

We set up the AI assistant on whatever device your family member already uses, configure it so it's easy to access, and walk through how to use it in a session tailored entirely to their pace and interests. No technical background required — that's what we're there for. We've had seniors describe their first real conversation with an AI as "absolutely mind-blowing."

Yes — we install and configure a dedicated parental control device that works at the network level, protecting every device connected to your home WiFi. This includes smartphones, tablets, gaming consoles, smart TVs, and laptops — without needing to install software on each device individually.

Once set up, you get per-profile time limits, content category filters, usage insights, and the ability to pause internet access from your phone. It works even when kids use VPNs or switch between apps. We configure it during the visit, walk you through how to use it, and make sure the settings match what your family actually needs — not a one-size-fits-all default configuration.

We typically have availability within one to two business days across most of Greater Sydney. For urgent situations — a device you rely on daily that's stopped working, a security concern, or a time-sensitive setup — call us directly on 02 9188 1577 and we'll do our best to prioritise your booking.

We operate Monday to Friday, with after-hours and Saturday visits available by special request. We'll give you a specific arrival time (not a vague half-day window) and call ahead on the day to confirm we're on our way. Flexible scheduling is available for seniors and those who need a bit more notice to prepare.

We'll always tell you honestly if a job requires a part we don't have with us or is going to need a return visit. The first-hour service call covers the full diagnostic and everything we can complete in that time — if we need to come back, we'll agree a plan and a fair cost with you before we leave.

If a device is beyond repair — for example an older computer where a hardware fault makes it uneconomical to fix — we'll say so clearly, tell you what your options are, and help you understand what to look for in a replacement. We won't charge you to continue working on something that isn't fixable. Honest advice is part of the service.

Our primary service is on-site home visits, and for good reason — the vast majority of home tech problems genuinely require hands-on access. Virus removal, printer troubleshooting, device pairing, WiFi diagnosis, and hardware setup can't be reliably handled remotely. For home users, on-site support also means we can show you how everything works in person, which phone or screen-share support simply can't replicate.

For simple follow-up questions after a completed visit, we're happy to assist by phone. If you're not in the Sydney metro area or have a straightforward software question, call us on 02 9188 1577 and we'll advise on the best approach — including whether a remote session could help in your specific case.
